These are some suggestions that you should do once you become a member of Uncommon Few.
1. Create an account on this forum, preferably as your main toon. Once you create an account on this forum, we will upgrade you from Recruit status to Full Member. This grants you access to the guild bank. We usually watch for new account creations, but if you haven't been upgraded, contact an officer. Note that we may drop you from the guild if you do not register on the forum after two weeks.
2. Stop by the guild hall and familiarize yourself with it. You can access the palatal guild hall from the guild lobby. Click on the Neighborhood Guild Hall door. You can visit the guild bank to see if there is anything of use to you. Note that you must be a full member to use the guild bank. When adding item to the guild bank, please keep the items to level 50 and above. 50 and below is put on the Guildbank Overflow toon. We now keep all levels in the guild bank. You can do trade skills in the room north just off the main entrance. There is a statue pointing the way to that room. This is thanks to Yeshael.
3. Group with guild members when possible. We want to make this game fun for everyone, so if you solo all the time, see if there is a group member available to group. At the moment we are always recruiting, so if you find someone who you have grouped with, and enjoy their company -- see if they would like to become a guild member. Find an officer to do the invite. Current officers are Unconscious, Iegen, Torashyaa, Yeshael, and Foddas. Iegen is most often on in the evenings, but due to Insomnia could be on at any time. :-)
4. Introduce yourself on the uncommonfew.boards.net in the 'Welcome..' thread. Also say "hello" when you first sign in game to the guild.
5. Fill out the poll 'Best Time for Guild Events'
6. Download maps at Map Fiend and EQ Resource.
a. Most maps up to Veil of Alaris are on Map Fiend. <-- currently no maps here, use EQ Resource. Hopefully they will fix Map Fiend because they had a "ALL MAPS" option.
b. Newer maps of zones past Alaris are on EQ Resource. Look under the specific expansion in order to find the maps for that expansion.
7. If you decide to leave the guild, please send a message to Iegen or Uncon notifying us that you have left. We have forum names that don't match up to the guild roster and want to prevent that. If you do this, you won't get spam from the forum... ie monthly updates.
More to come, and feel free to add your suggestions. And Happy Gaming!
Thanks,
Iegen
